“It’s a Great Day for an Audit!” That was Ellen’s mantra when she began working at the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
After a week, it became “It’s a Great Day if I am not the recipient of those four letter words-which did not include love, dear or kind.” She had 2 great days-Saturdays and Sundays.
So how did a revenue tax auditor become a laughortunity expert?
While at Revenue, she served as an emcee for the hilarious “Miss Revenue” pageants as her kooky character “Trudy”. Trudy turned conflict and tension into a laughortunity of shared fun.
